I know it has been a long time since I have blogged anything and even longer since I have joined my blog circle friends, but it’s a new year and time to get back into things! This year, our group is moving more toward documentary photography, so we changed the name to “Life — As it Happens.” And for another twist, every other month, the theme will be Get in the Frame. What?! I don’t even have a tri-pod, and I’ve never taken the time to figure out the time-lapse settings on camera, and I don’t have a remote, so this is a REAL stretch for me.
I’m so excited to get this fun storytelling session from earlier this summer up on the blog! This client wanted to document some of the special activities she does with her grandchildren when they come to her house—decorating cookies, doing a craft with leaves and flowers they gather outside, and reading books.
It’s already time for another monthly blog circle post. Last month, I just had too much going on with the end of the school year that I decided not to participate. This month the theme is “details.” Rather than detail shots (although I do have some), I interpreted that as the details of life. As much as I love documentary sessions, I often forget to stop and document some of the ordinary details of my own family’s day-to-day activities.
